Registering on the site

To register for the site, click on the "Register" link found on every page next to the "Login" link or go to the Login Page and click on the "Register" link on that page. Lastly, you can go directly to the Register Page.

Fill out the form on the Registration page. Answer the security equation correctly at the bottom of the form and press the "Register" button. You will then be taken to the "Login Page" where you will be able to login with your newly created account.

Log In to the Site

To log into the site, you will first need to make sure you have registered to the site. Then to log in, either click on the "Login" link found on every page, or go to the Login Page.

Fill out the form with the appropriate credentials. Then press the "Login" button. You will then be taken to the "Login Page" where you will be able to login with your newly created account.

After you log in, you will be required to pick a professor. If you are a professor, you will need to contact admin@admin.com and request your acount to be upgraded after you register.

User Hierarchies

After you log in, you will be required to pick a professor.

User Hierarchies are required to take surveys on this site. To add a user hierarchy, go to the User Hierarchies Page and fill out the form by picking a professor.

You will then need to be approved by the professor. Note: some Professor have opted to "auto accept" any user hierarchies.

Taking A Survey

After you log in, and pick a professor, you can take a survey provided by your professor.

To take a survey, in the navigation menu go to the My Surveys Page. On this page you will find a list of surveys that are available from your professor.

These surveys are in one of three groups:

  • Surveys Not Started - these are open to take that have not been started.
  • Surveys in progress - these you have started but not completed.
  • Surveys Completed - these you have completed or expired.
Select a survey from the appropriate list by clicking on the name of the a survey in that list.

Getting Survey Results

When a survey has closed, its results are available for download. To download these results, find the appropriate survey in the Surveys Completed list on the Pick Survey Page. Next to the name of the survey will be a Results link. You will be take to a page where you can view the results and have an options to download the results into a CSV file which can be open by common spreadsheet programs such as Excel.
